Default 10 parenting tips to raise healthy and smart kids

1) Give lots of LOVE
This is one parenting tips that work best in raising healthy and smart
kids. Give our children love and affection. Show the love by giving
them warm hug, kisses and by talking to them in a good manner. No
matter how young your child is, they still can feel and understand a
hug, a kisses and a good manner. Believe me, they can!

2) Maintain a healthy communication
Talk to your kids. Some parents do not talk to young kids. They may be
young (and still cannot understand any word), but they may hear sound.
They appreciate sound. They can distinguish a sound made by mom or by
dad. This healthy sound may develop good rapport into their brain.

3) Maintain healthy relationship between you and your spouse
Healthy relationship between mom and dad can motivate child behavior.
The motivation gives good impact to the child. Therefore, they'll soon
develop in a healthy environment, which allow them to be a real smart
kid.

4) Role Model
Children learn by imitating. And of course, they imitate you - their
parent, the one who live with them. You are the one who talks to them,
the one who ate with them. So, start building good behavior among your
children by being a role model for them to imitate and then to learn
from both of you (moms and dads)

5) Never blame them
Sometimes, young child do a lot of mistake in their life's learning
journey. They saw, they hear, they did it and they learn. They never
knew how to distinguish between right and wrong unless they did it.
Therefore, as a parent, we should tell them what is wrong and what is
right. Do not blame them for not doing right. Otherwise, teach them
how to do it right, or how not to do it again. Blaming young children
will lower their self-esteem. So, please avoid this.

6) Look into the eyes
Look into their eyes with lots of love. They'll soon recognize how
much you love them. Never look to their eyes with full of anger and
hatred.

7) Never use gross words
Never ever use such words - stupid, slow thing, dump thing, etc. They
might think that this is a normal word to be voice out anytime,
anywhere.

8) Be their advocate
Stand to their side whenever they did wrong or whenever they had a
quarrel with their friends. I am not saying that you can stand still
like you approve the wrong thing they did, but instead let them know
that quarreling is bad and then show them that you will be always
listen to their problem. This can boost their confident and they'll
soon learn how to appreciate friends

9) Be a friend (and play with them!)
Children between 0-6 years old are your playmate! So, play with them
whenever they like to play, and teach them whenever you feel like they
need some life lesson

10) Do not force
Forcing children to do what they do not want to will just add hatred
towards you. Instead, tell them why you want him/her to do so and what
they will get when doing so. For instance, you ask your child to go to
bath by telling nicely to them that getting bath is good for his
health and that he/she will get more kisses after getting out of the
bathroom.

Totally. It has dairy which is important for the calcium, it has sugar,
which is carbohydrates, which we need plenty of, erm, it has... Oh, I
know, the chocolate has something like endorphines in it that maes us a
happier person, which is totally important especially for mothers, and
well, any sleep deprived mom needs cafeine, right?
I buy chocolate with cornflakes in it, because you know, it's just like
cereal with chocolate milk ;-)
