starting school!

I've been gone a while, but I just wanted to wish everyone starting
school soon (or have already started) a Great School Year!!

Good luck to the Kindergarteners!!

We are heading off to 1st grade after Labor Day. Too soon!

We're starting 1st grade on Tuesday. We're very excited about it. Our
kids loved Kindergarten so much, and are ready for the next step.
Tomorrow, we find out which teachers our kids will be assigned to.

We just got our teacher assignments in the mail on Saturday. Then we
have an open house on Thursday, the 1st, to meet the teachers and get
class rules and prepay lunches and all that good stuff.

I wonder how different 1st grade will be from Kindergarten? My kids
loved K too, so I hope 1st grade will be just as exciting!
