Default Don't I have the Right to Appeal???

Do to work and trust me I tried to get out of it, I was not able to attend
the appeal meeting but I called the Appeal office and asked to reschedule.
The woman said I would receieve a letter with the new date. However my ex
said she receieved a letter saying there will be no appeal and that I
would be paying the child support. I haven't received anything in the mail
and no one has returned my calls from the appeals office. Can this happen?
Can they just decide to drop the case without even hearing me first??

NEVER NEVER rely on phone calls for court events. When did you call? The day
before? No matter: ALWAYS put it in writing, send a copy, certified to the other
party/their atty. and include a notorized statement to the court that the copy
has been sent to the other party. Failing to follow the rules of procedure is
the biggest gotcha for pro se litigants. Find your state's rules of procedure
online and memorize them. Excuses do not matter to the court.

Default No.

Appeals are for people who don't want to pay for their offspring.

Default Don't I have the Right to Appeal???

Okay forget the first message. I finally got in touch with someone from the
appeal office and they mailed out the new date yesterday. Basically my ex
was making it all up. Most likely it will be in two weeks. Wish me luck.
