Just a note - chelation did not work to get the mercury out either. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/q...&dopt=Abstract Clinical course of severe poisoning with thiomersal. * Pfab R, * Muckter H, * Roider G, * Zilker T. Walther-Straub-Institut fur Pharmakologie und Toxikologie, Universitat Munchen, Germany. CASE REPORT: A 44-year-old man ingested 83 mg/kg Thiomersal. He developed gastritis, renal tubular failure, dermatitis, gingivitis, delirium, coma, polyneuropathy and respiratory failure. Treatment was symptomatic plus gastric lavage and the oral chelating agents dimercaptopropane sulfonate and dimercaptosuccinic acid. The patient recovered completely. Maximum mercury concentrations were blood 14 mg/L, serum 1.7 mg/L, urine 10.7 mg/L, and cerebrospinal fluid 0.025 mg/L. Mercury concentration in blood declined with two velocities: first with half-time 2.2 days, then with half-time 40.5 days. The decline of mercury concentration in blood, urinary mercury excretion, and renal mercury clearance were not substantially influenced by chelation therapy. Then what is the cause for so many diseases almost disappearing since vaccinating started? Smallpox vaccination started in 1790's. That vaccination actually kept smallpox epidemics going. If you look at nutrition and infections you will see improved nutrition played a parthttp://www.whale.to/a/nutrition.html "Up to 90% of the total decline in the death rate of children between 1860-1965 because of whooping cough, scarlet fever, diptheria, and measles occured before the introduction of immunisations and antibiotics."---Dr Archie Kalokerinos, M.D. Ancient history. Many dieseases such as bubonic plague have been virtualy erradicated without vaccines. Anyone interested should research this issue for them self. Some usefull info at NVIC just google it Really. I lived through the height of the epidemic in the US. While I didn't see a lot of the deaths, I did see people who were severely affected in my school classes. At the height of the polio epidemic in 1952, nearly 60,000 cases with more than 3,000 deaths were reported in the United States alone. However, with widespread vaccination, wild-type polio, or polio occurring through natural infection, was eliminated from the United States by 1979 and the Western hemisphere by 1991. ******************************** The World Health Organization (WHO) is working toward eradicating polio throughout the world. Significant strides have already been made. In 1988, 355,000 cases of polio in 125 countries were reported. By the end of 2004, there were just 1,255 cases. Six countries (Afghanistan, Egypt, India, Niger, Nigeria, and Pakistan) still have polio circulating, and the virus could be introduced to other countries. If the polio virus is imported into a country where not enough people have been immunized, there's the risk that it could spread from person to person. That's what has happened in some countries in Africa and Asia. So until it has been eliminated worldwide, it's important to continue vaccinating kids against polio. -- Dorothy There is no sound, no cry in all the world that can be heard unless someone listens .. That's not what it says. It says chelation didn't work. And it says he recovered completely. Note also that the amount the patient consumed was 83 mg/kg Thimerosal. We don't know what he weighed, but let's assume it was 75 kg. That means an intake of 6225 mg, or 6.225 *grams* of thimerosal. A vaccination contains about 25 *micrograms*. So why would anyone get worried about that?
