Thank you! Operation went fine, they were able to take it
out laparascopically. I'm pretty sore, but I've got the
Good Drugs for that.

Glad to hear that you are healing.
Did they pump you full of gas during the laparoscopy? I can remember that
the sholder pain from my laparoscopic surgury was an annoying side effect.
My Dr suggested lying on my stomach to reduce the pain ... and it worked, I
just needed to be careful about lying on the cuts.

Yep. When I woke up, the only real pain I had was from the
air pocket that was right below my right lung (and hurt
every time I inhaled). No one suggested lying on my
stomach, but they seemed to think sitting up would help.
(And it did, it moved the annoying pain to my shoulder...)
But it's passed, now.

I'm back to normal now, except the incisions are still
tender. I'd rather not be kicked in them by a squirmy baby,
so I'm sitting up with a pillow to nurse at night.
Hopefully I'll get the staples out at the follow-up visit on
Tuesday, because looking at them squicks me.
