Default "toilet mastery" problems

My daughter turned 3 last month. Not long before that, she appeared to
have mastered the toilet fully. No accidents for 3 or 4 weeks,
although still wearing a diaper at night, of course.

Suddenly, it all ended over a 2-day period, without any precipitating
incident, lifestyle changes, etc., and she acted as if she'd never
used a potty or toilet before. I tried to hide my frustration, and
slowly but surely, she began using the potty again - but only when she
can be bare from the waist down at home! If she's bare, she has no
accidents. If she's wearing anything at all on her bottom, at home or
otherwise, she pees in them without comment. Although when she gets
up in the morning, she immediately takes off her diaper, saying it's
just for night-time (true enough).

Aggghh!!!! Advice, experience, commiseration...?

Let her run around bare. That's the way we potty trained. WTP? :-)

Oh, that's how we trained her in the first place. And if she's
running around bare she has no problem at all, and never has. But for
several weeks, she was trained while bare, wearing panties, etc. Now,
it's only when she's bare that she'll go on the potty or toilet. My
question is, how to get back to where we were? I guess it'll come
with time...
