What is it about new babies
that makes you want to have another one?
Had my annual exam today, and of course my OB-GYN, who is in a large practice with several others, had a delivery and was running an hour behind. So I sat in the waiting room and looked at all these pregnant women and these new moms holding their little babies, in for their six week checkups, and I'm getting definitely broody :-( If I could just lose 30 pounds and be able to quit working full time, I would seriously consider #3. I am planning on quitting my full-time job next fall, and if I was sure about that, and wasn't lugging around my last preg weight, I'd be ttc right now. *sigh* I've got it bad - even got names picked out. And you know what's funny about that? There has been a baby boom at the
school where my girls go. Tons of new babies this year. I always think, I am so glad it's not me. I wouldn't want to do the newborn thing again at all. Definitely not feeling broody here. I am so busy with my three that I can't even imagine having anymore. ) -- Sue (mom to three girls) I'm Just a Raggedy Ann in a Barbie Doll World... DH wants 2 kids, I'd rather have a whole bunch, just to be able to hold these tiny little ones, feed them and cuddle them. Nope, I'm immune to new babies. Every time I see an about to explode
pregnant woman or a woman with a new baby I always think "thank goodness that's not me". As much as I want a 4th I'm not looking forward to being pregnant again at all - with 3 other kids to take care of. Sophie - TTC #4 |
