Default How long to wait after miscarriage?

Whenever you're emotionally ready determines how long you wait. Physically
there is no reason to wait, although many doctors recommend waiting at
least one period. The only reason for that is so they can date the
pregnancy better. OTOH, emotionally it can be better to wait the sometimes
recommended 3 months, since right after m/c the only thing you want to do
is be pregnant again (BTDT), even though you may not be ready for it. A
new pregnancy can prevent you from grieving properly over the lost one,
and although this can be perfectly harmless in some cases, it can also
cause a lot of problems later on.

I think it can depend on how far along you were when you miscarried. If it
was just a few days or a week or two, you could probably try again that next
cycle. If you were farther along, you might want to wait a cycle or two.
Sometimes it's more of an emotional wait than a physical one. If you feel
ready emotionally, and your body seems healed, then you could be ready.
