Default Earliest Memories Remembered During Adulthood

I seem to be able to remember things that happened when I was 2 years
old and slightly earlier. I am now 22 years old.

I remember that my dad always used to leave his tea-cup at the buttom
of the stairs in the mornings. He'd get up, bring his tea-cup with him
to the hall and sit on the stairs to tie his shoes, and leave the cup
there, only to be removed up when he got back from work in the
afternoon. My parents were divoreced before my second birthday, and
neither of them stayed in that appartment.

I think I remember because it was a reoccuring pattern. Babies
recognise patterns before they are 1 yo. I asked my mom a few months
ago whether my memory was true - she said it was - only she'd actually
forgotten his habbit. Also - it's such an inconsequential thing, nobody
would have told me later.
