A Terrible Mistake
"In 1998, Andrew Wakefield's team published a study in _The Lancet_
[claiming] that MMR was associated by parents with the onset of autism in 8 of 12 children studied.... The editor of _The Lancet_ said [on February 21, 2004] the autism link was 'entirely flawed' and should never have been published.... The National Autism Society [in Britain] says regressive autism (the type targeted by Wakefield) has been constant since the introduction of MMR." Deer B. _Sunday Times (London)_. February 22, 2004 |

Brian Deer is a sad nasty stooge of the pharma industry, if you scroll down
you can see the game under "smearing of Andrew Wakefield" http://www.whale.to/vaccines/mmr.html Deer has managed to write one article that I recall critical of pharma med, an antibiotic Septrin, but hardly investigative journalism at its best do try harder "PF Riley" wrote in message ... Did the editor of _The Lancet_ NOT say the article should not have been published? Does the National Autism Society say regressive autism has increased since MMR was introduced?
