Default Mood swings at 35 weeks

I'm starting to feel really weepy and stressed at 35 weeks and was
wondering if this could be 'normal'. I have felt absolutely fine
throughout whole pregnancy and am really excited about meeting my
little one so I haven't attributed it to pending birth nerves.

My partner and I have been sniping at each other a lot more lately
which I am sure has contributed to my feeling this way, but I also
think that I seem to be over-reacting to everything he says or does!

Sigh, I am finishing work next week so am hoping that a few weeks of
R&R before Baby is due will help me over this hurdle.

Yes, unfortunately it is. I've read many things about it, because I
was seriously depressed about disciplining my child, even though my
husband said I did the right thing (there was no hitting or anything
involved, but his crying in bed made me so sad) I went to bed
depressed. It was a relief to find out that it was totally normal. I'm
only 30 weeks (and a half, but my "babycenter newsletter for 30 weeks
came the day after that episode). I get weepy for weird reasons, but
it usually passes quickly. At least now you can warn your husband
(it's always nice to have something else to be the blame).

It IS a relief to know that it isn't just me and I can blame the
hormones I have been feeling a lot better the past couple of days
and if I feel myself getting tense and explosive, have been making a
conscious effort to step away from the situation and have a time out.
Seems to be working so far but I have warned my partner of possible
eruptions just in case!
