...
The judge, his wife, the injustice
The Sunday Times April 25, 2004
A top legal figure who presides over the family court finds himself the
victim of a bitter divorce - and now realises the system fails fathers, he
tells Margarette Driscoll

[snip]

You know, I hate to say it, but since this judge was a part of the system
designed to destroy families, I can't feel for him.

All I can say is, it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Now perhaps
fathers in the UK will have at least one sympathetic judge... maybe..

What I find interesting also, is that other judges wouldn't cut him
some slack, being "one of them", and all. Not that that's right by any
means, of course.

I think this entire story may be fabricated.

It is hard to take seriously a story where the main person refuses to
identify themself.

I also think fellow judges would give him the wink and give him some
special considerations, without making it too obvious of course.
It's not like they could be called on it, it being family court and
all.

If they gave him "the wink", and didn't tell him, he wouldn't know and
he'd be on his merry way and would've continued doing what he had
always done... give the shaft to other NCPs.

I wonder, also. I'm suspicious. Seems a little too convenient.
