Default balancing supply with a 10 week old

According to my lactation consultant, I had or have a low supply. (This
was based on DD gaining only 5 ounces in 10 days when she was three and
a half weeks.) She recently put me on fenugreek and Mother's Milk tea.
It is working as my boobs feel fuller and leak on the left side.
However DD's diapers have changed from being poopy all the time to
mostly wet with fewer poops (2 poops a day). I think this could be that
I am producing more foremilk for her. Now I questioon how much hindmilk
she is getting per feeding.

The bottle of fenugreek says to decrease number of doses to need. Last
time I stopped it completely and I felt my supply go down.

Does anyone maintain a constant dose of fenugreek to keep up your
supply?

No, she is just getting older. The poos become less frequent and the wets
become more frequent. As long as you are getting 5 or more heavy-feeling
disposables a day, she is fine -- less indicates dehydration. Don't worry
about foremilk and hindmilk too much. If a baby gets too much foremilk, they
will tend to fart a lot, be uncomfortable, and the poo might be green and
bubbly. Note that the occasional green poo etc is not a big deal, but if the
baby is consistently unhappy, you should talk to your lactation consultant.
