social security numbers of CPs stolen? what a shame...not
You see, my husband always paid directly to mother. Always on time.
Sometimes even 40USD extra per month...not much more, but at least more. Then the ex gets angry because we move out of state...ah, you see, NCPs choice is stay in the state and lose his job (he was told ahead of time his job was being off-shored) or move out of state where he was being asked to work for the same company and at a higher salary. Great. Except the CP could no longer harrass us constantly and drive to our house to harrass the .... out of us...So, she gets angry and goes to the idiots in Texas CSE (attny general...you know the one) and they garnish his wages without notice for support plus back support, report him to the credit bureaus, advise the IRS in case of taxes and put a lien on his properties in the state we used to live in. So, forward it takes almost 3months to get to "mediation" to get this resolved...another 2 months to get a judge to sign the form stating he did NOT owe that money and it had been paid...but, the lien was already posted ON THE INTERNET by Tarrant County Clerk's office...social security, license number, full name, date of birth, new address and all...by the way, he was NEVER told this would be done, the letter he received stated that if he did not contest the charges within 30 days, THEN it would be done. Come to find out, they did it before they even sent us the letter...So after another month of constantly calling the morons at CSE, they finally RELEASE the lien...what does that mean? That the LIEN RELEASE is now on the internet. Not that the lien was REMOVED, therefore, his private information taken out of the internet, NO, just that the LIEN was released and the new release was now on the internet...along with all his PRIVATE information, YET AGAIN. So, if anyone gets ****y about a poor CP getting their identity stolen, I'm really not concerned. By the way, just the fact that the CP has access to such personal information of the NCP makes me sick...you see, about 2 months after going to court, we received a call from an investigative company asking about NCPs ex-wife and new husband, as they were being investigated for IDENTITY fraud, including social security fraud...ah yes, I believe they stated that the new hubby had a class 3 FELONY due to this...so we feel VERY safe that those morons have access to his information. |

I find it hard to believe a government agency would post someones social security number for any reason. |

If you don't believe that these are actually there, go to the Tarrant County website for public records and see for yourself. It was appalling to me as well. When I told my family they thought I was crazy...but there they are...a year after it was originally posted, it's still there. Sad, but true. And again, the response from the CSE office is "we didn't post it, we just gave the clerks the liens"...the response from the clerks is "we don't write the liens, we just post them"...Sad, but true. The only person that was appalled was actually the Social Security Administration and I gave them even the website for Tarrant County since they couldn't believe it either...they verified what I stated was correct and they were appalled...but, yet, there they are...Mr Idiot Attorney General did nothing until now that he's talking about making counties remove such information from records before they are made public, but the counties have complained about the cost to do this and he has basically put the issue on hold...GOD FORBID the moron tells the Tax Payers of Texas that it will cost them XXX amount of taxes to remove these and at the same time have them find out that HE was part of the problem, as every single Child Support lien HE allowed the clerks and the CSE offices to include the social security number. |
