Default a question for St. Louis (MO) moms

Hi! My daughter is 19 mo old, we live in St. Louis, MO, and for months
already I've been looking for a day care for her that would meet the
following conditions:

1. caring and creative environment
2. affordable rates (within $220 p/w)
3. convenient location (U-City/Clayton/Brentwood/Tower Grove/Downtown)

Any recommendations? I feel so desperate; all day care centers I called
seem to be overbooked with huge waiting lists. Besides, it's so hard to
tell what day care is good. Thanks for any replies!
