Parental Alienation and Hostile Aggressive Parenting Awareness Day.. Need help.

Hi All,

We're trying to organize a PAS and HAP awareness day on April 25th,
2006. (HAP is Hostile Aggressive Parenting.
(http://www.hostile-aggressive-parenting.com ) HAP usually causes PAS
in children. )

The HAP and PAS awareness day has been moved to Tuesday April 25th,
2006 (originally scheduled for March 28). The reason being that on
April 26th, Dr. Warshak will be in Toronto, and he has agreed to do
media interviews if we can get them. (He is the author of 'Divorce
Poison'. )

We need all the help we can get to get as many articles about HAP and
PAS in the newspapers, local and bigger, magazines, reader's digests,
newsletters, flyers in grocery stores, and any other way you can think
of! We also need people to write letters to their loved ones and have
the paper/magazine/newsletter publish them. Pour
out your love for your kids for all to see in print. We also need any
past victims of PAS and HAP that have now realized what has happened to
them to write to the papers, magazines, etc. Maybe saying how it
effected them to not have one parent while growing up, etc. Let's
educate the public about this problem, you'd be surprised how many
people have no idea about it!

Hopefully by educating the public, and possibly the alienating (HAP)
parent, and the alienated children, either the HAP's friends and family
will step in to help, and/or the PAS children will realize what is
happening to them. Also, there are a lot of judges, attorneys,
psychiatrists, etc out there that have no idea what all this is about.

Articles should be about HAP and PAS in general, and letters should
be about one's personal stories. Let's keep the anger to the HAP parent
out of it, and concentrate on the love of the children. Anger only
breeds more anger. We can conquer this with education and love.

If everyone pitches in, we can flood the media that day with letters
and articles and bring attention to this problem... Come on people,
let's do something about all this!

Personally, I'm not effected by PAS or HAP, but I know people who are,
and I have two beautiful little kids that might one day have to deal
with it! Let's stop the abuse! Everyone call help.

How about raising money for research? How about getting the suicide
prevention people involved. Have you any idea how many alienated
parents commit suicide? How about PAS children. I know of 2 off hand
that have commited suicide. Any more?? Let's tell the media about these
tragedies.

It would also be nice to get a hold of Alec Baldwin who is going
through PAS related problems, and ask him if he would help with media
attention... anyone have any ideas how?
