Hi
Alexandre, my "baby A" has reflux. He was put on Zantac and given AR formula at 3 months roughly and is feeling better since then. Now he's 7 months and a half and we stopped the Zantac. He's not spitting up anymore but he's still on the AR formula. The pedi said to go on 2 or 3 months before stopping. He got a lot better and was in less pain when we gave him the Zantac. My twin grandsons had it -- and it was awful. The doctor said it would
last about a year...and it did. We put them in their car seats to sleep (sitting up) for the first few months. We had about 100 'burpie cloths' made from flannel fabric yardage -- that helped, too. Tried to feed them in a sitting up position. Thought it would never end, but it did. Hang in there. |

Two of mine had it. I didn't think it would ever end - but it gradually
got better. By 8-9 months I guess it was gone. One of my boys was a projectile vomiter. Talk about a BAD case of reflux. We did the sitting up feeding and the Reglan. I had to prop their mattresses up with folded blankets underneath them when they were really tiny babies because of reflux issues. Email me privately if you want more information on that. . |

My "A" son had reflux too, the doctor prescribed the usual medicine for use in with the milk but that just blocked the teats up and didn't stop the vomiting. I found that feeding "little and often" and burping very frequently (every few sucks on the bottle) throughout the feed worked for my son and he stopped within a month. Toni |

My daughter had it too and we put her to sleep in her car seat for a couple
of months. She just never seemed comfortable lying down flat. This seemed to really help her. The problem seemed to resolve at about six months. "gwen" wrote in message oups.com... I was lucky that my boys didn't experience reflux. I just wanted to
add that, in addition to car seats, cradle swings are a comfortable way for babies to sleep more upright. Mine slept in cradel swings from about 6 weeks to 5 months. They preferred them to sleeping on their backs in the crib. |
