Newspaper lady to help babies? (Carol Towarnicky)
NEWSPAPER LADY TO HELP BABIES? (CAROL TOWARNICKY)
OPEN LETTER (archived for global access; see below) Carol Towarnicky Chief Editorial Writer Philadelphia Daily News (Knight Ridder) 400 North Broad Street Philadelphia, Pa. 19130 Goethe vs. 'Scientific underpinnings of govt agencies' (Carol Towarnicky, Daily News)... http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group...t/message/2810 Carol, I forgot to mention... In the early 1970s, Ohlsén pointed out that the authors of Williams Obstetrics were erroneously claiming that pelvic diameters DON'T CHANGE during delivery.[Ohlsén H. Moulding of the pelvis during labour. Acta Radiol Diag 1973;14:417-434] What did the authors of Williams Obstetrics do? They began erroneously claiming that their favorite delivery position - dorsal (woman-on-her-back) - widens the pelvic outlet. In the early 1990s, I pointed out that dorsal CLOSES (so does semisitting), at which point the authors of Williams Obstetrics published "my" biomechanics - but left their dorsal widens bald lie in their text. http://home1.gte.net/gastaldo/part2ftc.html Currently women have to ASK OBs not to close their birth canals - even as OBs slice vaginas en masse (episiotomy) - fraudulently/surgically inferring they are doing everything possible to open birth canals. OBs are also slicing abdomens en masse (c-section), fraudulently/surgically inferring they have DONE everything possible to open birth canals. I urge you to do a story/editorial on these bizarre obstetric birth practices - and the equally bizarre obstetric practice of immediately amputating placentas (immediate cord clamping) - OBs asphyxiating babies to rob blood from them. See again: Goethe vs. 'Scientific underpinnings of govt agencies' (Carol Towarnicky, Daily News)... http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group...t/message/2810 Thanks for your brief acknowledgement of receipt of "Goethe," URL above. Sincerely, Todd Dr. Gastaldo This Open Letter will be archived for global access within 24 hours in the Google usenet groups archive.
