Arrghh!! My fingers don't work!!!
Based on the tests, I know it's just edema, not PE, but I'm really getting
annoyed with the swelling in my hands. It's not nearly what I had last time, but it's just enough that my joints don't bend right (and hurt!) and when I try to do fine stuff, or even something like opening a soda bottle, it's next to impossible. And since I've been occupying my time with crafts, well, this isn't a good thing. I can still type, but I'm having to correct a lot of typos. I know that being in this half-way state is much better than full PE because it's giving the baby time to grow, but it's driving me crazy!! I just want one NORMAL pregnancy!! |

Aren't swollen fingers frustrating? I imagine it is even more so when you
want to do crafts!! Since you are unable to go to the pool to soak, would a bath at least make you temporarily feel better? Kelly #4 2/12/05 "Donna Metler" wrote in message ... And since I've been occupying my time with crafts, well, I had the same problem. I just remembered one thing I used to do that helped a bit, and that was to hold my hands over my head for a while. Also, bending my fingers over and over again helped. It didn't make it go away, but it made it hurt a lot less. |
