Default Here's what the press does when you try and give them a story about child support.

I wrote the following email to Rob Seal, court reporter for the
Manassas Journal, the newspaper of record in Prince William County,
Virginia, where the two non-attorney employees of DCSE are being
investigated by the Virginia State Bar for the unauthorized practice of
law. I sent this on December 3:

This has statewide ramifications as DCSE has admitted to the
Virginia State Bar that they've been doing this for YEARS all over the state.

Contact me for background if you'd like.

Didn't hear anything.

Sent a similar email to the news editor.

Today I got this email from Seal, which he apparently tried to recall
using his email system:

he sent me this also - i'm going to contact him and see what the background is.
From what I can tell, he's in trouble with child services for failing to pay child support,
and one of the social workers filed a motion to show cause against him.

So he complained to the state bar that she was practicing law without a license,
and now they're looking into it. I'll check with the state people and see if anything
came out of it, but this guy has an axe to grind I think.

And then a few minutes later, I got this from him:

Mr. Briggman,

Thanks for your e-mail. I'd like to know more - the DCSE employees have
been filing motions for years and have never been challenged until now
Are the results of the state bar's investigation available yet?

If you'd like to give me a call my number is (703) 369-5718.

No bias in the media about this, huh?

Seems to me like he hasn't a clue of how to use his e-mail.. Nor that
others can foward one's own comments to anyone they choose without the first
person's knowledge.

Looks like you caught him with his fly wide open.
