MY 6 month old DS's grinding his teeth
He has 2 lower front teeth and 2 canines coming in, or teeth next to
the canines... basically 1 on each side of his upper gums coming down but not yet all the way. he just started grinding his teeth a few days ago. we think he's teething too as he seems more fussy (per our Nanny) and perhaps starting to miss his parents. i don't think he's tense - he smiles a lot, plays, curious, smiles at the nanny, i couldn't tell if he's tense or anything. so do you think he's just discovering his teeth and alos the sound? that's what i assume. is he was tense, what would some signs be? |

He's not tense, he's just doing as you say.... discovering a new sound he can make. It used to give me goose bumps when mine did it, but it's totally normal. Nan |

You are correct. is he was tense, what would some signs be? In a young baby it would probably be largely physical -- fussiness, muscular tension, etc. Maybe refusal to make eye contact or otherwise socialise.
