Chocolate may boost brain power

NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - Chocolate lovers rejoice. A new study hints
that eating milk chocolate may boost brain function.

"Chocolate contains many substances that act as stimulants, such as
theobromine, phenethylamine, and caffeine," Dr. Bryan Raudenbush from
Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia noted in comments to
Reuters Health.

"These substances by themselves have previously been found to increase
alertness and attention and what we have found is that by consuming
chocolate you can get the stimulating effects, which then lead to
increased mental performance." ...

Before ADD, it used to be called hyperactivity, didn't it?

Excessively antsy kids with a perpetual case of hives ...

Hmmmm...what a tasty solution!

Wasn't it blamed on too much sugar, pop, junk food and

... OMG, chocolate candy !!!

Say it ain't so ...

The pre-school set, self-medicating.

Absolutely. The DietKops will reap their rewards in a far more
hyperactive school....

Say it ain't so ...

Why? Every diet 'fad' of the last several decades has been shown to be
somewhat questionable after I changed my diet to be 'in'. I refused to
give up milk chocolate, though, and have been happier for that choice.

In Times Square in NYC there is a Hershey's Store where you can go,
browse and....INHALE!

The pre-school set, self-medicating.

Just beware of the DietKops.
