Thanks! It was indeed an amazing experience, especially compared to my
first, who was planned as a home birth but ended up having to be
induced. It was so nice to have everything go smoothly this time, and
doing it at home was just incredible. I especially love that my son was
able to be a part of it all instead of having us abandon him for a few
days and then come home with a stranger. He's been being so sweet to
his baby sister; I just couldn't have asked for a better overall
experience!

Default Valerie's birth story (LONG!)

Valerie Anne was born at home on Monday, October 13, 2003 at 3:31 P.M.,
one day after her due date.


Congratulations! What a great birth story! I especially like your description
of your son's response to his new baby sister -- I can tell you from recent
experience, it's a lot of fun watching one's child get to know his new sibling.
Enjoy them both!
