1 year old
I can't believe she's a year old today. We went to the hospital to get her
latest prosthesis made up today. Not many children can say that they got a new arm for their birthday. She also got "finding Nemo" on DVD because I'm told Nemo has a "little fin" to help her talk about her "little arm" Debbie

I find the Nemo reference really smart. There is not only Nemo, but an old
sea fish he meets in the aquarium who has a broken fin, and has even become proud of it, because it showed his courage through hardship. What a great reference! Happy birthday to the little girl!
