Not sure what you mean but--My son, who is disabled, pays $10. mo on
arrears.
It is taken out of his SSD (not SSI, which is not subject to CS) check
before he receives it.

It depends on who receives it and why they get it. Social security received
is counted toward "income from all sources" and is subject to whatever wage
withholding law a state has set up. In my state social security can be
subject to 120% of an ongoing order if an arrears exists or 20% of the
amount if only an arrears exists.

If the social security is received as a survivor benefit disability or
education benefit directly to the child, or on behalf of the child, it is
deducted from any current or arrearage amount.
