How do you pump and dump? I had eaten dairy the other day and my baby's
suffering from it. He can't have dairy. I just want to know if I should dump
it after I go out to eat and I know I had dairy so the baby won't get it.

Dairy often takes days or even weeks to get out of your system totally. If
your baby really reacts badly to your eating dairy, you should refrain from it.

I can't have milk or ice cream, and we just discovered cottage cheese is bad,
too. Luckily for us, the discomfort in baby only lasts about a day. I can
have cheese and things that have cooked milk in them (like a casserole), so
not all dairy is bad in our case. YMMV.

I do refrain from dairy completly. I was at my sisters wedding and I ate a
few things that I realized had dairy. The wedding wasn't very accomodating
to a milk allergy. I don't know how people do it when they are severly
allergic. I asked the hostess who served our food to not give me any dairy.
She said she couldn't do that, the food was already made. He had the face
rash and the blood in his poop for a few days. I also broke out with acne. I
realized I can't have the dairy either. I get such bad acne. It took all
these years to figure this out. Another good reason to breast feed.
