[ot] Q--Intro Beans/Legumes?
We have been following a solids sequence for allergic babies, since I have
mild asthma and DH and I both have seasonal allergies. DS is now a little over 12 months, so we're going to be introducing another round of new foods. I have what might be a stupid question about introducing beans and legumes. Should each be treated as a distinct new food to be introduced with waiting time before trying another? In other words, if he has kidney beans without trouble, can we consider him "clear" for black beans, black-eyed peas, lentils, lima beans, etc.? Or consider each as a potentially allergenic "new" food? -- Belphoebe |
