Yes, congratulations, since that's still impossible! (Grin) Someone who
conceived today would still be 40w in September!

ps Mary you are the best to post these.. I am just giving you a hard time!

I totally know how you feel (((((((Jenn))))))), it's tough. Especially
when friends announce their second is on the way. Every time I have to dig
deep to feel truly happy for them, but I know it's not their fault. In the
mean time I have made sure to share with most of them the fact I have had
a m/c. It makes it easier for me to deal with it, and it makes it easier
for them to understand why I might come off as a bit chilly.

Eventually, I am still overjoyed when I hear a friend has a healthy
pregnancy, since I wouldn't wish the experience of having a m/c on any of
them. Take your time Jenn, it will get better, although it will never be
the same again.

Thanks Ilse :-) After a day of a massive migraine and full-blown AF, this
made me feel better. I wouldn't want to wish a m/c on my worst enemy but
it's nice to have some people on here who have gone through the same thing
and can help put things in perspective.

to get on with it! So some ~O vibes~ would be appreciated :-)

On their way Tatjana!

Here's to the two of us being miserable in the heat all summer long,
but only due to pregnancy ;-)

Still here, still trying. Licorice Root Extract failed again this
month and I won't be taking WYE after O as I am getting a progesterone
level check at 1, 7 and 14 DPO (using my O dates!). At least I will
be if my cycle recovers from temp weirdity due to a heavy cold and
MIL's ultra heavy duvet! I may already have Oed, but I don't think
so.

Doctor agrees that I may well have conceived last cycle, hence the
progesterone checks.

Thanks I'll take a peek. I'm charting although my BBT have been kind of wild
since the m/c even this past month. I've spent so much on EPTs that I
shudder at buying OPKs also :0

In any case, the plan would only work if you were approximating a
regular cycle! The timing is pretty good though.

In my case, however, with a 40-43 day cycle, poor DH would be
exhausted by the time O came along!

Megan, a friend of mine said she did something similar...
She called it the "Wear DH Out" Plan.

Lol! I'd really, really hate being hugely pregnant in summer because I
have problems with heat tolerance. OTOH, we could meet with bumps
because DH and I will be in England some time early summer :-)
But can you imagine that when we started TTC, I suffered from the
delusion of only TTC from March-September to avoid a summer birth? Well,
that crazy idea went out the window right away! I'd take any edd now!!
But my favourite TTC window is coming up again, for the fourth time ...

Congratulations to any early birds who know they're pregnant already! Is
it a shock, or a much-awaited blessing? How many pregnancy tests did
you have to take before you believed it? Any symptoms yet?

For our TTC members, how is the journey going? Need to vent, cry, yell
a bit? Feeling hopeful? Into the 2ww? Lots and lots of baby dust to
you all. I know there are lurkers as well as the visible ttc'ers here,
and some ttc'ers who are staying silent on the subject or still deciding
whether to really go for it. Everyone should feel welcome in this
community... please know that we're cheering you on with all our hearts.
Hopefully there will be some new due date updates from some of you who
have had such a long, tough haul so far.

For any new members, hello and welcome! Have you started ttc (trying to
conceive)? Feel free to send an introduction, or keep us updated as you
look for signs of the big O (ovulation) by charting your BBT (basal body
temperature), do some BD (baby dancing), cross your fingers during the
2ww (two week wait, after ovulation but before a pregnancy test will
show anything), and then hopefully send your own new due date
message out! You'll often see TCOYF referred to: it's the fabulous book
_Taking Charge of Your Fertility_ by Toni Weschler, available from
Amazon and many bookstores. It talks all about how to chart your
fertility signs, both for pregnancy and for birth control, and is an
incredibly valuable way to learn about your own body. Highly
recommended reading for anyone starting down the road to pregnancy.
Welcome to the group.

Just thought I would chime in. Still TTC I think. I was hopeful for this
time but I think AF is starting. It's mainly brown so still a chance that
it's implantation bleeding but it has been in the past on the first day in
past regular AFs. I was REALLY hoping to be pregnant as a belated Christmas
present. In fact. it's all I wanted for Christmas so I'm a bit depressed
that it looks like it hasn't happened. I'm still depressed over the m/c in
early Nov at 6 wks. Put me in a bit of a funk for this holiday season. Can I
say (and I know I am not alone) that I hate the 2WW as I am so hopeful and
then AF barges in. I know I should be grateful for my son and I really am -
he's my world. But still, I so want another little one :-(

I hear you. The holidays can be tough, can't they? I know I couldn't
help but make it a mental deadline. I am a couple of days away from
testing, trying not to get my hopes up. I remarked to my DH yesterday
that this past 5 months has been the longest stretch in 2003 that I've
gone without getting/being pregnant. I know I was pretty happy to turn
the page on that calendar though, and look forward to 2004. Here's to
it being our year!

I did with Seoras, and managed to hit it (got pregnant first try) so
who knows what is up this time. This cycle is just about my least
favourite and I am joining weigh****chers again tomorrow, so maybe I
have done enough to invoke sods law this year!
