Default swollen nipple still

I kept deciding it was bad and I would go to the doctors, then it would feel
a little better and I'd decide not to, in the end I finally decided to go
this evening, as I wasn't sure if I could wait 'til Monday and we have plans
for tomorrow. Conclusion, no idea, baby hasn't bitten, or had a bad latch,
or chewed at the nipple, it isn't thrush, as I was on the last day of a
course of fluconazole when it flared up. So the plan is try antibiotics,
redness does tend to imply infection so it makes sense. I'm thinking that as
nurse nurse nurse hasn't worked I might give it 12hrs and see what happens
as the inflamation is not in the ducts the whole keeping emptying the breast
thing wouldn't seem to apply in the same way.
