Happy birthday, Sophie! :)

It's still the 26th here so wanted to say that I hope you have had a
very happy birthday! It's easy for me to remember yours as DD#2's
birthday is tomorrow!...but I almost forgot both birthdays because we
celebrated DD#2's last weeekend...tomorrow morning DH and I will phone
her and sing to her...LOL...C.

I had a *great* day. I found my platinum wedding band that I misplaced when
my hands got too swollen in the summer and took it off. I'd been looking
for it since July! And Dylan sent flowers and called.
Well it was good till Patrick threw up at about 10 pm - lol.

And happy birthday to your DD#2 My dad always calls me and sings - lol.

#2's birthday is exactly 2 weeks from yesterday too. Busy.

Awww...re finding your ring (what a great d-day gift) and flowers and
call from D....so sweet...I'm so glad that DH and I aren't the only
ones that phone and sing to our daughters on their
birthdays...LOL...actually we had to phone and *talk* this morning as
we both have terrible colds and have lost our voices! LOL...C.

Its such a nice feeling to find your wedding ring isn't it?

I lost mine somewhere in my house the morning before I had to fly to a
conference on the other side of the country. I spent nearly 2 weeks touring
Western Australia (DH flew over and we had a holiday there after my
conference) telling myself I'd find it as soon as I got home (DH had no luck
finding it but I'd put that down to the fact that the "looking for stuff
gene" requires 2 X chromasomes to be switched on

When I got home, I searched the house from top to bottom without success. I
flopped on the couch and bawled my eyes out. Then I pulled myself together
and decided that I'd just better get on with things and went to unpack my
suitcase ... only to find a very special circle of gold lying in the bottom
of it ;`) It had obviously fallen off whilst I was packing!
I had it resized shortly afterwards so that it couldn't slip off my finger
ever again!
