Why? Nestle has a lot to loose if they didn't fund a study to find out if
their forumla is at risk. I'm not surprised. However, is this just happening
in places other than the US? Has there been problems in the US with the
bacteria containing formula?

The article didn't mention the bacteria being found in the formula. It found
the bacteria in the factory and also in peoples homes. I understood from the
article that the findings suggested the possibilty of contamnation but no
actual proven cases.
