Default story book that comes with cassette tape

hi, for those who have these, what is it like? are the reading very
formal? when i read a book, i can vary my voice type/tone depending on
the characters to make it more interesting. so i am hesitant to buy
such 2-in-1 package. do you recommend it? maybe just one set for
variation of reading time? whats your comment? thanks!

regards,
jean

We have lots of those books as all my girls at one point or another used
those when they went to bed at night and couldn't sleep. The voice isn't
monotone, but they don't really change their voice for different parts. I
didn't have a problem with it. IMO, ANY reading that is done is better than
nothing.

I had them as a kid and loved it. It was how I learned to read, because my
mom didn't read to me.
