A better up date
It was a LONG 3 weeks or so since I had internet. Xavier is growing like a
weed and Bonnie is gonna be in trouble when he learns how to tackle. He went from 75% about to 90% so the midwife(she does the 2 m check) said that I should try to slow down his eating by not forcing him to finish bottles.. I have NEVER had to force him to eat anything. Now I have the standard MIL annoyance "Why dont you put him on a schedual?" That just seems mean to me to not offer food when I KNOW he is hungry. The other thing is that I know arround this time Bonnie had jumped up to 25% for her weightbut then fell back to 10%within a few months. On the friend front I am getting "my sister read that a baby is NOT suposed to double their weight until 6 months." Well who in the world asked! My mom is throwing in "Did the dr recomend starting cereal yet?" That is easy.. No mom he is growing fast enough on formula. Anyway it is nice not worrying if he is gaining fast enough and slightly amusing when people ask me how old he is then realize he is about 4 months younger then they think The other thing is he does not really stand a lot.. you know when you hold him up. My MIL has decided we need to excersize his legs. How in the world do you excersize a babies legs? it isnt as if he flew off the charts and I am feeding him mac and cheese with a side of lard.. he is on Similac Lactose free w/ DHA and ARA. Tori -- Bonnie 3/20/02 "I am short and thin and I look like I am just turning 2" Xavier 10/27/04 "I am an average height chunk and my leg rolls have rolls" |

We get grief if they are to small, we get grief if they are to big. What in the world is wrong with people!! Hunter was a big baby too and gasp he's a tall 5yo. I say congratulations on your happy healthy baby :-) -- Nikki |
