From that article: "Then-director of the Centers for Disease Control
Julie Gerberding (who is now President of Merck Vaccines) stated: "The
government has made absolutely no statement indicating that vaccines are
a cause of autism. This does not represent anything other than a very
specific situation and a very sad situation as far as the family of the
affected child."

This is not an autism award. IIRC, the child has a very rare
mitochondrial problem that triggered her condition.

The child had a mitochrondrial disorder which had many symptoms, only
one of which had symptoms similar to those of autism.

[.. vaccines didn't cause Hannah's autism -- the condition just "resulted"
from the vaccines. The totally twisted and unsustainable United States
government approach to vaccines and autism was on full display today. A few
months after the federal vaccine court laughed at the idea that one has
anything to do with the other, tossing out more than 5,000 cases at once,
CBS reports HERE "Family to Receive $1.5M in First-Ever Vaccine-Autism Court
Award" that the government awarded Hannah Poling $1.5 million for regressive
autism that followed vaccination.
The government lawyers mumbled something Orwellian and incoherent about a
pre-existing mitochondrial disorder and how vaccines didn't cause Hannah's
autism -- the condition just "resulted" from the vaccines. Translation: The
medical industry's wall of doublespeak, delay and denial is crumbling and
today, at least, one child got justice. More, many more, to come. -- Dan

Looks like carole cannot refute what dr jeff said and resorts to ad
hominems instead. Typical.

The fact that it is in the court/ medical records, uncontested. You
really should read these things for yourself before asking to be
spoonfed Carole. Even the mercury militia does not contest that it is
due to a mitochondrial problem. You really should inform yourself
*before* commenting.
