one more question--about hormones
The hormones are driving me nuts. I am not sure if it's BFing hormones or PP
hormones. It does not take much to make me weepy and I am having hot flashes. I am driving myself and DH nuts! It's not PPD. I'm just very ultra-sensitive. Most of all--I feel extemely happy to be a mom to 2 wonderful DDs and am so thankful. IS the ultra-sensitivity something that is most likely caused by recently giving birth or do the hormones from BFing factor into it? Will it get better? |

I'd say it's from just giving birth more than anything. The bf
hormones/early postpartum hormones will even out before too long. I was that way too, at first, and it definitely got better. Annie "CarolynRS1" wrote in message ... The hormones are driving me nuts. At one week postpartum, it's the pregnancy hormones flooding out of your system. It's totally normal. Breastfeeding actually helps combat it, because prolactin (nursing triggers a release of it) makes you feel relaxed and content. -- iphigenia www.tristyn.net "i have heard the mermaids singing, each to each. i do not think that they will sing to me." |

Carolyn, just came by to ask a question myself.
I think it's the postpartum hormones, not related to breastfeeding (unless you are hurting while nursing). I wept for almost two straight weeks (as you know ;-). It does pass. I also know a few women who went through the same thing and are FF. Hope you feel better soon! t. |

Carolyn, I'd chalk it up to post-partum hormones. As Ir ecall, they were bad for the first weeks. It should get better soon. Beth |
