Default Hypothetically speaking and stuff

Can I have some feedback on these names, any make your stomach turn, any
you adore that sort of thing....connotations to them, no need to feed
back on every name just the ones you have strong thoughts on. Trying to
come up with some sort of short list for contemplation, not having much
luck.

Adelaide, Arabella, Georgette, Freya, Fleur, Jemima, Lucinda, Lucianna,
Matilda, Poppy, Saffron, Tamasin (not Tamsin), Tansy, Willow

And would it be too cheesy to give a baby girl born in May 'May' as a
second name?

Girls names we already have are...
Tessa Hannah
Paige Breanna
Grace Madeline
Rose Isabella
Amelia Kate
Lydia Elisabeth

Andrea no middle name

Adelaide

That one sounds really good with your other girl names IMO.

, Arabella,

I love that one myself.

Georgette, Freya, Fleur, Jemima,

Jemima has a pancake syrup connotation in the States. :-)

Lucinda, Lucianna,
Matilda, Poppy, Saffron, Tamasin (not Tamsin), Tansy, Willow

Don't really care for those.

Not at all. We thought of using that as a middle name as it was my husband's
grandmother's middle name--although if it were me I would probably spell it
Mae.

Leslie

Emily (2/4/91)
Jake (1/27/94)
Teddy (2/15/95)
William (3/5/01 -- VBA3C, 13 lbs. 5 oz.)
and Lorelei, expected 11/2/04

Personally, I would avoid Jemima for sure. I have fond
memories of a professor named Poppy (*very* bright and interesting
lady). For some reason I'm not fond of Saffron, though I can't
put my finger on why. Freya doesn't seem to fit with the rest
of your names to me. I like Georgia better than Georgette (which
is a kind of fabric, though I confess Georgette Heyer novels are
a guilty pleasure ;-) Have you considered Rowan? A friend named
his daughter (now 7-ish years old) that, and she's a pretty
impressive kid. Seems to go with your other names (in my head,
anyway, which might not count for much ;-). Claire/Clare/Clara also
seems like a name that might fit with your others.

Not in my book.

Best wishes,
Ericka

Adelaide,

like it
Arabella

Georgette

don't like it, there are some boy nick names for girls I like but George
isn't one of them and most likely it will get shortened
Freya

don't hate it but don't really like it either
Fleur

not to keen
Jemima

don't like it
Lucinda

like it
Lucianna

like it
Matilda

reminds me of a witch, why?
Poppy

don't love it don't hate it
Saffron

love this!
Tamasin

not to keen on this
Tansy

it's ok
Willow

like it

And would it be too cheesy to give a baby girl born in May 'May' as a

not at all, I considered this for Madeline as she was born in may but opted
for June as that is my mum's middle name (and it sounded better).

Matilda,
Poppy, Saffron,

These last two are getting really popular at the moment due to certain
UK television shows/personalities.

Tamasin (not Tamsin), Tansy, Willow

I like Tansy the best. I know an Arabella (5 year old), a Jemima (2.5
year old), and a Matilda (4 year old) personally. I knew an adult
Freya who has actually married a Dutchman and gone to live in Holland.
Willow is not just the name of a _Buffy the Vampire Slayer_ character,
it's also the name of Will Smith's daughter. There is some completely
useless random trivia inside my head

Oh, I guess that means you're still using Oscar for a potential boy?

I really like Poppy and Arabella is nice. Don't much care for Jemima or
Saffron.

I like: Adelaide, Georgette (but I'd choose Georgia instead), Jemima
reminds me of syrup ;-) But Jemma would be a possibility. Matilda is
very pretty.

If either of mine had been born in April, guess what their middle name
would have been :-)

Nancy Lynn ;-)
