spotting/bloody show?
"Alicia Elliott" wrote in message
news Hi there ya'll, a quick question... and of course this is all subject to change for each woman involved, but when is it normal for bloody show to start? I am just now coming up to 37 weeks with my first baby, and it seems quite early for me, but I am definitely spotting. It is not heavy blood, so I am not too concerned, but if it is too early for me to be having bloody show, is spotting normal during this stage? Any info would be appreciated. Alicia I started having a bloody show on my due date and had to be induced 12 days after that. IIRC you can start having a bloody show a few weeks before actually going into labour. A bloody show will be a blood tinged mucous discharged. Have you recently had an internal exam at all? This can cause a bit of a bloody show as well. I'd wager a guess that you are on your way and you will at least not be overdue which is a very good thing :-) Good luck and be sure to let us all know when you have the baby. If you need anything before or after you have the baby feel free to give me a call, I'm only a few blocks from you! Take care, Nadene |

spotting/bloody show?
I went into labor 24 hours after I lost my mucus plug. "Plissken" thought everything was going well until Tue, 15 Jul 2003 09:46:32 GMT, when "Plissken" wrote the following to misc.kids.pregnancy : "Alicia Elliott" wrote in message news Hi there ya'll, a quick question... and of course this is all subject to change for each woman involved, but when is it normal for bloody show to start?
