Default State Supreme Court Sides with Triplets’ Birth Mother In Landmark Egg Donor Case

This one is sort of interesting. I can understand why the court found
that the surrogate was "legally" the mother. But why does that
automatically make her CP and bio-Dad gets visitation/monthly payments?
The court could just as easily found the woman to be the legal mother
but granted bio-Dad primary custody due to his biological connection to
the triplets. Biology is apparently not enough to overcome the "women
get custody, men pay and visit" biases in Tennessee.
