Bleeding for less than a day, esp. if very light, is not what I'd call a
proper period. I don't know where you are at with your cycles, but it could
be implantation bleeding. If you are late and don't get a proper period, I
would test just in case.
I wouldn't think you would be nauseous this early, but some people are more
sensitive than others, so I guess you never know. The first part of your
cycle you wouldn't have been pg anyway, even if you were pg now, even though
medical professionals count pg from the first day of your last cycle.
Confused yet? ;-)

Thanks for the info. It's gonna help me out alot. I have another
question that may sound kinda weird. For the past month I have been
craving foods that I don't even like, I've been sleeping alot more than
I usually do and I've felt alot of nausea. However I started what I
thought was my period on Jan 10 but only bled for less than a day? Would
could be causing this?

It's ideal for you to know when you are ovulating cause the standard
advice for men with lower than optimal sperm counts is to have sex
every other day rather than every day at the time of ovulation.

True, in fact not just for those men, but for everyone. Too much sex is not
necessarily a good thing, just like not enough. We were at it like rabbits
for no. one, lol, and wondered why it took 18 months. The reasoning behind
this is not that men 'run out' of sperm, but that sperm production takes a
set amount of time. When a man is releasing semen excessively, the male body
rushes to produce sperm at a higher rate, and produces a lot of inferior
quality ones at the same time. So it's not just that his sperm count may be
lower, it will also contain a lot of 'duds', poor swimmers, deformed sperm
that can't fertilise an egg, that kind of thing.
The expectorant type of the cough syrup Robituissun has been shown to be a
temporary fix for men who get semen that is too sticky to carry sperm
properly, much the same way as it helps thin out women's cervical mucous, as
it basically just thins out all bodily secretions, so you can take it a few
days prior to 'babydancing'.

So how about if you don't have the best quality cervical fluid? I know
that sperm can last up to 5 days in an optimal environment but thought
that it was more like 24 hours if you don't have great quality CM?

Thanks

Well I made it to my ob appt. and I wasn't preg. which I was very sad
about, but I kinda knew that. Anyway he told me I had a cyst on my right
ovary and it ruptured, He said I would start feeling relief and the pain
and tiredness would go away. However today I have been hurting so bad I
haven't been able to even sit up straight. I don't know much about cyst,
what they do or anything. So if someone could give me some information
about that I would very much appreciate it.
Thanks
Angie
