The worst thing that I can remember was from pregnancy #1. I forgot
the word "oven". I asked my husband if he could "please check the
food in the large box for cooking"? He said, "You mean, the oven?" I
replied, "Yeah, that is the word I couldn't remember."

However, I am absent minded a lot, and when DH complains, I say, "I am
pregnant. What do you expect?"

Thanks so much for the laugh! I've done a few weird things, like putting
things in the fridge that aren't supposed to be there.

I have fridge problems when *not* pregnant. :-( On more than one
occasion, I've caught myself trying to put the cereal in the fridge and
the milk in the cupboard. Well, thankfully I *caught* myself. ;-)

A little OT... I'll never forget this one time when my kitten jumped in
the fridge without my knowing it (it happened just as I was turning and
closing the door at the same time, and therefore not looking). Don't
worry - she's OK. It took me a good 10 or 15 minutes to find her,
though, after I started wondering where she had gone. Ahem, she's never
done THAT again! ;-) And no, she was not at all traumatized by the
event. In fact, when I finally thought of looking in the fridge, I
found her having a little kittie party in there.

I've done that kind of thing my whole life. Welcome to my world ;-)

When your keys are missing, check the fridge! I know, I was there too.

Hey - that's my trick not to forget to take home perishables from work
that I bought in my lunch break !! -- I do it on purpose !!

LOL, my cat did the same thing. I found her within a few minutes, and
she was cold. The cat now stays away from the fridge G

Yes, they're pretty smart! I never punished my cat - she just never did
it again because I think she got a bit chilled. That and she probably
didn't like being in complete darkness. She seemed to be enjoying the
food smells, though.
