help needed with electric pump problems
My baby is 11 days old and I recently purchased an evenflo comfort
select electric pump. The first couple days of using the pump went well, I was able to almost fill a 4oz bottle. However, we are now having problems. The pump ecsrtracts a good amount of milk during the first few suctions, and then stops getting any out. I know that there is plenty of milk in my breast and I am wondering why the pump has suddenly stopped being able to get ithe milk out. Anybody have any ideas or tips??? ~Rachel |

Get another pump! Seriously the Evenflo is notorious for the problems you
describe and has actually been known to hurt women (leaving severe bruising for example). You might try an Avent Isis. Why are you pumping? It's generally not recommended to pump and/or bottle feed until baby is 4 weeks, FYI... "W Cleere" wrote in message om... The LC at my hospital recommended I pump (not give EBM, just pump) in the early days in addition to BF to get the milk going. She changed her recommendation when I told her I had OAL with DS, but it seemed to be a general recommendation she was making to all moms. |
