I used to hang out here a bunch in 2002-2003 when pregnant with the
Bug and then mostly wandered off to misc.kids.breastfeeding and
misc.kids (when I had the time for newsgroups at all during pediatric
residency). Well, it's finally time for the Bug to get a little
brother or sister! I'm 9 weeks along, due in mid-April. All's well
as best I can tell. I'm exhausted all the time and not sleeping well,
which is a little challenging since I just started a new job. The
nausea is minimal thus far (knock wood). My first prenatal
appointment isn't for another two weeks but apart from being an
"elderly gravida" (ie, 35 or older) I don't have any particular reason
to worry (knock wood again).

Anyway, hello to all the familiar names and the new ones.

Kate, ignorant foot soldier of the medical cartel
and the Bug, 4 years old
and a little something else due 4/11/08

Hi Kate

I remember you from mics.breastfeeding. Congratulations on your pregnancy. I
like the phrase you use for being over 35 - that's me too.

Hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy

Jeni

Congratulations and welcome back! I was "elderly gravida" for my last
2 kidlets. I was 36 for dd1 and 41 for dd2.
