OK, it's a bit unorthodox as a landmark, but we made it to 13 months of
EPing [1] yesterday! I'm especially proud of this one because I've been
EPing with a PIS [2] for a couple of weeks since taking my Symphony back
for
a mum of a newborn.

Luke is a super-curious and spirited fellow. He walks well now, and
decided - today - to hit the new milestone of walking backwards. He
focusses very very hard on stacking his stacking rings, and loves
gardening, though he's having a little trouble telling weeds from sweet
basil seedlings. He likes to help with the laundry by banging pegs
together and throwing them on the ground, as well as trailing wet
laundry through the dirt. He loves his Tupperware cupboard but has not
given up the quest to get into the cupboard with breakables and sharp
things. He always waits for Mummy to tuck him in after the evening pump
session, even though Daddy has brushed his teeth (the electric
toothbrush makes him giggle), put him in his night nappy and put him to
bed. He says Dadadad and Mama and Bye-bye and Ta, and I swear he said
"Gruyere" a couple of days ago. He loves cheese and avocado and
strawberries. And he gives big wet sloppy kisses.

New photos are up at

Does he always use thane electric toothbrush? I've been using a
standard toothbrush on Ollie, but I use an electric one for myself.

Lara,

13 months is amazing. I am so completely in awe of you.

I pump once a day for DD and every time I start to get sick of it, I think
of you EPers and remind myself that once a day is not so bad.

We tried a manual toothbrush, but he didn't like it at all. We got a
baby brush head for the electric, and now he's all grins and giggles and
"do it again"s.

hmmmmmm *evil thoughtful expression crosses mummy's face*.....
Might just work, tho currently the problem isn't that he doesn't like
his toothbrush, but that he adores it and wants to use it on everything
from the bathtub ring to the dog's nether bits. AND on his teeth

Maybe electric will be suitably fantastic not to share quite so
indiscriminately.

Inspired by you, I tried the electric on Ollie last night, with my
brush head... be was confused and entertained, what more could I ask
for?
