Default Heard a neat song today

I heard a great song today by Marc Cohn called "Healing Hands", and there is
one line that I just thought was so perfect- he says "I touch your skin and
it is smooth as silk, just like a baby drunk on momma's milk". After that,
I kept thinking about how perfectly that describes the connection between a
nursing mom and their babe. It's almost like an addiction.

I've often thought that. Many times as soon as Lorelei latches on her
eyes just roll up into her head almost immediately, nursing has such a
powerful relaxing effect!

How are you, Laurie? Haven't "seen" you in a long time!

I'm doing well. I haven't been able to read this NG for over a year but I
can now. We moved back to MA 3 months ago and things are looking up. Glad
to "see" you too! How are things with you?

We have had a rough year for a lot of reasons. Hopefully things will
improve in the next little while. We are looking forward to summer and
an escape from school stress. Emily just finished her first year of
high school, Jake finished 6th grade and I'm homeschooling him next
year, Teddy finished 5th, William starts kindergarten in August, and
Lorelei is not quite 19 months old. John is working at home now and
I'm his only assistant, so I'm busier than ever!

Leslie
