Default First Trimester Screening - Results

In case anyone remembers me posting back in December about first trimester
screening and what kind of results I can expect - I did get my results
today. It was only so long because I had got a call from the hospital saying
everything was OK, but they didn't leave the exact results. I figured I'd
wait until my next OB visit to find out the specifics.

For Down Syndrome, my risk based on age alone was 1:248 (I think?). After
the NT test and blood test, the risk dropped to 1:2421.
For Trisomy 18, my risk based on age was 1:five hundred something. After the
tests, was 1:250,000.

So I'm happy and I definitely won't be having amniocentesis, although I'll
still get a Level II ultrasound at 19 weeks.

Thanks to everyone who shared their results and experience on the matter!

Lucy

Hey Lucy! I remember!! Those are pretty rock solid numbers, I wouldn't
bother with amnio either!

I remember and I'm sure glad all the testing turned out so well!
