Is there anything safe I can take?

I am having some bad nasal congestion, I guess I am coming down with the

Ocean brand saline - can buy it over the counter, its basically a
saline nasal spray. I've used it, it does help.

When I had a cold I made a sort of tea by combining the juice of 1/2 a
lemon, some fresh grated ginger, and honey added to hot water. Let it
steep, and strain before drinking. The honey and lemon helps your
throat and the ginger opens up your nasal passages. If you don't like
ginger, you can also try spearmint tea (you can buy the type that
only has spearmint leaves in it). These are both things that have
helped me.
