Default Yoga... Getting harder and harder!

On this not-so-beautiful-out day of my pregnancy, now at week 40 + 3 days, I
have just completed a yoga session at home... Yikes! The last one I did
was a week ago, and oh my have things changed!

I cannot stretch half as far as I used to, every movement must be done very
very VERY slowly, and some of them I can't even do anymore! On the bright
side, I can now do the breathinig exercises much easier than before, due to
the fact that if this baby descends any more, she will simply be coming out!
Also, even thought my movements and postures were limited in scope and
range, I can still feel all the benefits from the session: relaxation,
muscles relief, and overall well being.

I am very glad I took these prenatal yoga classes very early in my pregnancy
(at about 9 weeks). It gave me time to build up flexibility, in body and
mind ;-)

Later this afternoon is my midwife appointment, with my backup midwife, whom
I don't like as much... I like her, but she's a lot colder than my
"official" midwife, who's a real warmer and cheer. Anyway. I know she's
competent and has seen many women through delivery, and all of those I
talked to who gave birth in her company just rave over her!

not surprising as you are probably getting bigger and bigger, I didn't do
pregnancy yoga last time, I plan to this time, but I don't know what will be
available when we get out to South Korea, at the very least I hope to carry
on going to the gym, they must have those!

Good Luck Zaz, this baby will come out real soon.

She's coming soon, Isabelle... and just think, the lower she descends, the
less pushing you have to do!! haha Yoga was great for my laboring, by
the way -- I think the breathing exercises *really* helped get me through
the contractions.
