When in doubt, call the OB/Midwife. Bleeding is always a reason to call. It
may turn out to not be much of anything, but it never hurts to be safe.

Bright red blood is worse than brown or pink blood. Lot's of blood
is worse than a spot. Where does she fall?

In any case, you should call your caregiver if you have any concerns.

Call a midwife or OB right away and ask for a hCG bloodtest in which they
measure the exact amount of hCG (and not just a positive or negative). A
repeat test in a few days. A viable pregnancy should show a doubling of
the numbers. If not, there is reason for further investigation, like
having an ultrasound done.

Thanks all of you for your kindly replies. Great help.
I got her to see the Doc - there was no problem.
I also did a few search on pregnancy bleeding. This link from
Emedicinehelth seem to be a good one
