Default Yay! Finally some action!

This morning I went in bright and early for a NST and to see if a
prostaglandin induction was worthwhile. It was confirmed that despite my
being 41 weeks and 2 days, my cervix was shut up tight. I decided to go
ahead with the induction and whoa boy did it get things moving. DH and I
wandered around the neighbourhood and got some lunch and then I discovered I
was experiencing pain that made it hard to walk. Having never had period
pains the cramping and contractions brought on by the Cervidil was pretty
intense for me! We came home and I lay down. I lost my mucus plug around 3
ish and about 5ish the Cervidil came out because it was just so heavy with
all the fluid.

This was actually a good thing because by that time my body had kicked into
early labour. I am now about 3cm dilated with contractions coming every 3
minutes or so. I guess I need to go and sleep since I may very well be
having a baby tomorrow...
