Default I'm ready!

For this baby to come out! And I am just now starting week 38. So I am happy
for her to cook as long as she needs to but I am ready!!

I feel so yucky, and have all weekend. Little aches and pains, joints
hurting, big stomach etc. Nausea etc. But there are no signs of labor being
soon or anything, I really am not cramping or contracting much. No
discharge. Nothing unusual. I had my weekly appointment and they didn't do
an internal so I don't know if the baby has dropped anymore (she was at -1
so couldn't drop much more) and have no clue about dilating etc. My blood
pressure was back down in a better range, I gained a pound, and my group B
strep was negative.

I'm ready, being it on! I have a feeling it will still be about 2 weeks, my
EDD is May 16-17...I will be ok if I am a week or two late I am sure, but I
do feel like I'll go within a few days either way of my EDD. I'm still
looking for any early signs!

Me too sister! I've BEEN ready for about a week or so.

I feel so yucky, and have all weekend. Little aches and pains, joints
hurting, big stomach etc. Nausea etc. But there are no signs of labor being
soon or anything, I really am not cramping or contracting much. No
discharge. Nothing unusual. I had my weekly appointment and they didn't do

strep was negative.

I was only 50% effaced last week, hopefully I will know after my appt
tomorrow if I've progressed any more. I was going to refuse the
internals but my curiosity gets the best of me every time.

I'm ready, being it on! I have a feeling it will still be about 2 weeks, my
EDD is May 16-17...I will be ok if I am a week or two late I am sure, but I

My EDD is May 14th (even though my US EDD said May 11th, they didn't
change it) and he is measuring about 2 weeks big so as you can
imagine...I am ready TOO!!!

Good luck for a speedy next couple of weeks!

Hi Jill,
We are totally in the same boat as you. I start my 38 week tomorrow. My midwife did a ultrasound on
Saturday because she feared the baby was too big. Well at 37 wks they confirmed the baby is 3.5kg
which should be ok they reckon. Now my worry is the pain I will have to go through if the babe gets to 40wks.

So far no signs of the babe wanting to come at all. That's why I reckon we are in the same shoes.

Good luck and I hope the babes come soon

I know just how you feel! I'll be 36 weeks on Thursday, so I know I need to
wait at least another week and a half so the baby will be considered full
term, but I am so ready to have this baby! I'm not even really having any
pregnancy related aches or pains either. Just impatient to meet this new
little one and be done being pregnant!!

OMG Jill,
where has time gone? How exciting! In such a short time you are going to
hold your baby girl.
I read that you found a very good midwife and that you had a tour of the
hospital and it seems nice. It is so reassuring to hear that they have all
those security things for preventing baby snatching.
I cannot wait to read your birth announcement!

Pampering vibes to you.

Love
